Deer

And the fourth of the example icons, a derpy deer. I quite love this silly little thing :)

I need to finish another commission first, and then I'll throw some slots open for these little darlings :)

Lion

Third of the example icons, a posh lion. Gosh I love this one, it's definately my favourite of the four.

Mutt

The second of the example icons, which is a fairly new character of mine. I love crossbreeds and mutts, so it's not surprising I'd eventually get a character based on one.

Fox

After getting a lot of positive responses to my 'DAMN internet, you SCARY' icon, I decided to start making icon commissions. And so, four example icons were made.

Here's the fox, he's a schemer ;)

DAMN internet, you SCARY!

Made a new icon to use as my profile-pic for most sites I'm on. It was quite fun to make :)

Deer sketch

More fooling around digitally, while also practising front-view on deer. Deer are tricky little bastards, but I'm determined to get the hang of drawing them. This is a character of mine who has both a cervine and humanoid form, who's the guardian spirit of a particular forest filled with all manner of critters. He's fun to sketch.

Hair

I like drawing ridiculous hairstyles in ridiculous colours. Yep.

Cotton Candy

Thick Paints

Messing around with the thicker paints available in Painter Essentials 4. These are Wet Acrylic and Smeary Round. It's fun!>br>

She reminds me of a Pastel Goth.

Fooling Around

Just fooling around some more, trying to get a good feeling of all the materials that are available for me to use in this programme. I think the thick paints are next, maybe in combination with some chalks.

Oh well, back to playing.

Use ALL the brushes!

Yep, sure used a lot of brushes with this one. Was fun! I mainly worked with paints Soft Cover and Fine Camel, and toyed around with some pastel, blending tools and markers C: Fun was had.

Stay tuned, I'm in a productive mood!

Pastel and Crayon

More digital studying, toying around with waxy crayons and soft pastels. It's interesting to work with, I must say, though I do miss the smell of wax when drawing with wax crayons :C Ah well, you win some, you lose some.

The wax crayon was a bit tricky to work with, but it was fun nonetheless.

Playing with brushes

Corel Painter Essentials 4 is a pretty neat little programme that came free with my tablet. It has various brushes, which I normally never really played around with. It was about time I changed that! Just by playing around with the brushes, I get to explore the programme more, something I plan on doing a lot this week. This week shall be productive!

Today: Playing with crayon brushes.

Mini-Drawings

So, I had a bunch of tiny pieces of paper, and decided to draw some fluffy animals on them.

Nothing serious, just having some fun. Including a li'l silly pic I drew for a friend to cheer him up (the robo-cheetah).

That'll be all.

A few con-sketches

So, I occasionally visit conventions, and I usually bring my sketchbook :)

So here are just a few sketches/doodles I made at a private con. They were fun to draw, especially since I usually had an audience and watching their reactions was fun.

I'll occasionally upload more of this kind of stuff, if I feel like it ;)

Snow White

For Comic Design class, we had to make a continuation of the Snow White story - which story version we picked was a free choice, so I decided to stick with the age Disney assigned to Snow White. The girl was fourteen, which gave me the creeps, and thus inspired this comic.

A warning: This comic includes a short scene of the young girl's wedding night. Back in the day, it was perfectly normal for a girl that young to be married off to a (much) older man, and I wanted to dive into what consequences that would have on the young girl's mind. After all, it's not even a 'normal' situation, even for that day and age. After all, she wasn't just given away to a wealthy man by her parents, she was found pretty much dead, brought back to life by a total stranger and taken away on instant.

That's totally the best foundation for a healthy relationship/marriage *chokes on sarcasm*

Consider yourself warned.

"I don't know who he is, but that doesn't matter. He saved my life, and now I'm his."

"We shall be married today. Then he will be king, and I will be his queen. Then we'll live happily ever after."

"Until death do us part. He shall reign, and I'll have only one task. Heirs."

"A child cannot become a mother."

"Go find a new queen."

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to take a scalding-hot shower to clean myself of page 3's scene :')

From A to B

A comic I made for Individual Research class, about my struggles with finding a study that I like.
It wasn't quite as simple as shown in the comic, and I'm still not certain, thus I'm taking a year off studying to go explore the world and myself :) Also my mum makes an appearance C:

The paper says "CHOOSE"

"So many options..."
"What if I pick the wrong one?"
"What should I do"
Paper: "Choose a study." "Choose now" "Please"

"Tea."

"I just don't know what to choose."
"You'll figure it out."

"Thanks mom, I needed that."
"That one."

Skoiping

Sorry for the lack of proper daylies, I'm out of Daylies-juice. But, I'm in a new class now, thus I should probably have enough new material soon enough ;)

My old classmates were using Skype to converse with a teacher, I found that fascinating and somewhat funny |3

Fascinating!

*Pet*
*Pet*
"Fascinating!"

Ryanne from Cats and Clouds shaved off her hair. I find it very fasinating. *petpetpet*

Fat Hamster

"This is Floor. She has a hamster." "A FAT hamster."

COPYCATS!

"Hey! My old classmates are drawing daylies too!" "COPYCATS!"

Fluffy Things

This weekend I drew fluffy things. Toying around with how my fursona's design would translate to other animals, in this case, a fox.

Or rather, a fox with oversized head and a too stocky body XD Let's call it a fox-corgi mix 8D

Doodle doodle. Practising with my tablet c:

It's cold outside.

So I drew a girl with a bonnet C:

That's all.

Technicolour Animals

I felt like havin some digital-drawing practice today, thus I drew some oddly-coloured animals. When in doubt, draw oddly coloured animals C:

This was a lot of fun! I like the calico kittie and the panda the best <3 Those would go nicely as stickers, on mugs or on t-shirts, I'd reckon. Ah well, a girl can dream.

Stay tuned for more stuff!
